AJAY KUMAR BHALLA SWORN IN AS THE 22nd GOVERNOR OF NAGALAND.

Ajay Kumar Bhalla was sworn-in today as the 22nd Governor of Nagaland in a Swearing-in ceremony held at Kohima, Raj Bhavan on 25 th August 2025.
The oath of office was administered by Hon’ble Chief Justice, Ashutosh Kumar in the presence of the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr. Neiphiu Rio and
his Cabinet, Member of Parliament, Advisors, MLA’s and senior civil, police and military officials from both central and State government, members of civil
societies of Nagaland. Meanwhile, the new Governor was also accorded the Rastriya Salute by the Nagaland Police Mahilla (IR) Contingents at Raj Bhavan.
Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Sentiyanger Imchen conducted the swearing in ceremony.
